The FDX is a durable, high-quality electronic earring for young piglets. Thanks to the electronic RFID identification system, animals can be recognized automatically and information about the animals will be automatically collected and recorded. The ear tag can be scanned with the FDX Portable Earring Reader or the Fixed FDX Reader, e.g. at feeding stations and scales.
  
 The FDX is a construction principle according to which the feedback signal is initiated as soon as the start of the interrogation signal is received and the smoothing capacitor in the transponder is charged. The feedback signal is received repeatedly and without interruption as long as a continuous interrogation signal is maintained. The FDX transponder does not need to store energy to be able to return the entire data signal.
